Summary: Oceanological characteristics change relatively slow in winter and summer but they change sharply in spring and autumn. In order to distinguish hydrological season?s dates of sharp changes of the sea water temperatures are determined when they grow and fall. The end of spring and the beginning of autumn are determined by the dates, when the velocity of temperature changes attain maximum, the beginning of spring and the end of autumn are determined by the dates of transition of the temperature across the zero. Period of the negative temperatures is hydrological winter. Period between dates of the both maximums of the velocity of temperature changes is hydrological summer.
