21 Commands of Jesus

By: Keith Wayne Phillips

This small booklet summarizes 21 of the Commands of Jesus from Matthew and offers some brief comments on practical ways to live them in our day to day lives.

5) “…do not worry about your life..”-Matt. 6,25 “what you will eat (or drink), or about your body; what you will wear. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?...can any of you by worrying add a single moment to your life span?...Your Heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given you besides. Do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself. Suffi...

The Bible : Old Testament and New Testament

By: Nicolae Sfetcu, Compiler; Nicolae Sfetcu, Editor

At the first God made the heaven and the earth. And the earth was waste and without form; and it was dark on the face of the deep: and the Spirit of God was moving on the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God, looking on the light, saw that it was good: and God made a division between the light and the dark, Naming the light, Day, and the dark, Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.

At the first God made the heaven and the earth.

By: Alberto Canen; Mercedes Carreira, Editor

By: Mrs. Alberto Canen; Mercedes Carreira, Editor

The Observer of Genesis. : The Science Behind the Creation Story

By: Mrs. Alberto Canen; Mercedes Carreira, Editor

The Genesis has been a mystery for thousands of years. No one had been able to understand what the text spoke about, whether it was just an introductory poem to the Holy Scriptures, or it actually contained information about the Creation. The text of Genesis divided the waters of creationists and scientistics long until today. With this book I hope to dilute this separation between scientistics and creationists since I have discovered the key that unifies both worlds. ...

It was clear to me that the Genesis story was real; they were facts that could have happened but were somehow masked. What was the key? What was the Rosetta stone that would allow me to interpret the narrative? The key, I discovered, was that the story -the text- was a narrative of someone who was telling what he was seeing. That was the key -the board, so to speak- on which I had to assemble the pieces of this puzzle. In the text of Creation there was an observer...

Gems and their uses in Vedic Astrology : Gems in Vedic Astrology

By: Alok Jagawat

A small book that covers every sloka related to gems and its interpretation.

I believe that only ‘Ratnas’ defined in classics should carry “Swapranavastha” (Self invoked state) and rest of the gemstones are just stones. To energize them one needs proper mantras to invoke their powers which are positioned in dormant condition. This is the same as Idols of Deities need to be “Pranpratishtith” before they are worshipped. But Shalagrams and Dakshinavarti Shankas have their own powers and they are never invoked through Mantras.

By: Dr. Mohiuddin Habeebi Syed Mohammed; Ahsan Habibi Syed

This Book has been accomplished to Unite Humanity on the basis of Commonality in Belief and Reality that there is only One True God - ALLAH , the Message of Whom was conveyed by Moses in Old Testament, Jesus in New Testament and Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon them) in Quran. A Beautiful Disaster

By: Pierre Michel Bruneau

This is a short account of what I saw in New Orleans just a month after hurricane Katrina hit and the work God is doing there. It is what you didn't hear in the news about how the church responded to the disaster and how God has been using it to draw people to himself.

Once we got there I was tired, and I started to lose focus. I started to ask myself the question “why did I even come here? What is the purpose? How will what I’m doing here make any difference? Is this the worst of the damage there is? What am I doing here?” That night the pastor gave a speech that put everything back into focus for me. He talked about the disaster in Indonesia and the work that God is doing there. He talked about how Muslim leaders were telling people ...

Self Realization : Gnani Purush Dadashri

By: Shuddha Anami, Translator

Have you ever wondered 'Who am I?' in all this that happens and is happening in this life? Who are you, really? Are you really this body-mind complex. Knowing who you really are is Self realization. Self realization helps one become free from the problems of the mind and the body in daily life.

If one has attained eternal bliss, and when the worldly pains do not affect him, then he has become free. Permanent bliss (param anand), is verily called liberation (moksha). What is the use of any other liberation? We want happiness. Do you like happiness or not? Tell me that. Questioner: All the struggles are for that only. Dadashri: Yes, you do not like that temporary happiness. Unhappiness (pain) follows this temporary happiness (pleasure); that is why one does not...

Teachings on Being : The Holy Book of Religious Leaders, Followers...

By: CS Tapu

Every religion has its story - oral or written. CS Tapu searches the story above and beyond any particular religion - the very quest for Being. A quintessential religious book, these original Teachings are the fruit of millennia of religious thought and practice. While some present or future believers (or religious leaders) might not agree with all of them, the Teachings will surely provide valuable insight for the spiritual beings of believers and non-believers alike....

"There is only one religion: the religion of peace, love, hope, and good will. The religion of helping hands."

Clare of Assisi : A Living Flame of Love

By: John Desmond O'Brien

I used the image of Paul Simon's "Dangling Conversation". This expresses the way we so often fail to meet each other or God. Clare, by her openness, came to know God and in her spiritual friendship brought others into that space where they could find God and themselves. A new conversation was opened up between God and the broken.

Love Rescue Me : The Healing Power of Love

By: John Desmond O'Brien

Andy Ripley was a dear friend of mine. He suggested to me that I write a book that one could meditate on, just taking a little bit or as much as one wanted. Andy had cancer at this time and he suggested such a book would be helpful to him and others. He meditated during his treatment on one of my other books. He suggested I write a book in this form for others who would feel the need of love and consolation.

Cry Me a River : Mary’s Tender Tears

By: John Desmond O’Brien

I visited the shrine of Our Lady of Syracuse in Sicily. It showed Mary’s compassion for the poor and the ill. I had friends who were suffering and I wrote the book for them so they would not feel alone. One of my friends was Eileen Dallaglio, who lost a daughter tragically. She found the book a great consolation. Tragically, she had cancer at the time and she passed away later in that year.
